Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilvan Vinhas got the match started through his kick off. Edvaldo Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Samuca Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 4th minute, Edvaldo Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencia SS's Gilvan Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valério Goiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuca Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valério Goiano ran back to his position shaking his head. When Valério Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Inocencia SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério Goiano couldn't finish the play. Edvaldo Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Inocencia SS's Sílvio Luís Simão tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Valério Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macario SC's Samuca Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Vinhas in the 25th minute of play. If Valério Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Fabrício Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macario SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inocencia SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Macario SC's Fabrício Koehler got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Valério Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Inocencia SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valério Goiano couldn't finish the play. Sabino Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Koehler in the 37th minute. Basílio de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabino Braga having to interfere. Samuca Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Inocencia SS's Reginaldo Alagoano got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Inocencia SS's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Koehler came free, but Sabino Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Vinhas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Elder Perez's late challenge caught a Inocencia SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elder Perez helped the player get up and apologised. Elder Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Gilvan Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Macario SC booed when Inocencia SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabino Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basílio de Sena in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabino Braga saved Inocencia SS from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Enrique Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrício Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sabino Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Fabrício Koehler notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Inocencia SS's Sabino Braga. Sabino Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Macario SC's Basílio de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Macario SC had played much better football throughout.
