Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Nathan Quenault started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Macario SC's Elder Perez got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Macario SC's goal looked a bit too open when Custódio Coelho came free, but Samuca Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Samuca Dantas made a huge save. In the 14th match minute, Macario SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of delPino FC booed when Macario SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio de Sena in the 19th minute of play. Samuca Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Quenault in the 21st minute of play. Macario SC's Samuca Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Macario SC from getting a goal against them. Fabrício Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adolfo Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zézinho Mazza in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuca Dantas saved Macario SC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Macario SC defense, Zézinho Mazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuca Dantas. The Macario SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuca Dantas should have stopped the shot. Zézinho Mazza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuca Dantas having to make a save. In the 39th minute Fabrício Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basílio de Sena made a kick off. When Basílio de Sena fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macario SC's protests and gave Basílio de Sena a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Basílio de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Macario SC's zone, Nathan Quenault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuca Dantas came out of the goal and Nathan Quenault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elder Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Quenault in the 57th minute of play forced Macario SC's goalkeeper Samuca Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute delPino FC were awarded a corner. Geovânio das Neves went to the cornerflag to take it. delPino FC's Geovânio das Neves was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Samuca Dantas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nathan Quenault struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Samuca Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for delPino FC. William Donato lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Betinho Zonta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. delPino FC's Adolfo Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio de Sena in the 70th minute of play. Fabrício Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Adolfo Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basílio de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Fabrício Koehler fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Fabrício Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Adolfo Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuca Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Fabrício Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Fabrício Koehler sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to delPino FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Geovânio das Neves hit a great ball. If Zézinho Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The delPino FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Macario SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
