After having played for 16 minutes, Vladan Bajić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jurupema SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladan Bajić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jurupema SC's Sérgio Rezende suffered a sore thigh after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jerônimo Nogueira fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imparavel FC's protests and gave Jerônimo Nogueira a yellow card for diving instead. 21 minutes into the match, Jurupema SC's goalkeeper Vânderson Marquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Eduardo Furlan. Luiz Eduardo Furlan struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Vânderson Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imparavel FC. When Vágner Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Jurupema SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Ferraz couldn't finish the play. Jurupema SC's Belchior da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Eduardo Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Vânderson Marquez made a huge save. In the 35th match minute, Imparavel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Domingues to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vágner Ferraz in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Proença saved Imparavel FC from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jurupema SC's Roberto Mazza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Proença. That made the score 1-1 after 82 minutes of play. Vânderson Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Proença was a little too slow when Belchior da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-2. Vágner Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Proença having to interfere. When the match was over Jurupema SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Imparavel FC throughout the match.
