In the 8th minute, Manfredo Paraense fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Perivaldo Jacinto, passed just outside the right post. Perivaldo Jacinto was a little too slow when Jerônimo Arce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jerônimo Arce had several of the Arno FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Perivaldo Jacinto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fausto Vargas got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dorival Matos. In the 23rd minute, Jerônimo Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorival Matos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Dormida EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Garcia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Gomes in the 31st minute of play forced Dormida EC's goalkeeper Dorian Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 32 in the game by Jerônimo Arce from a close distance when the talented Perivaldo Jacinto managed to make a qualified save. Arno FC's players were relieved. In the 34thth minute of the game Jerônimo Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arno FC's Perivaldo Jacinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dormida EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arno FC's zone, Jerônimo Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Jacinto came out of the goal and Jerônimo Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerônimo Arce to make the kick off. When Agenor Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Dormida EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agenor Cerezo couldn't finish the play. If Jerônimo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arno FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Jacinto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dorian Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Prata in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Frédson Gomes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorian Rossi. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 79th minute, Jerônimo Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerônimo Arce scored 4-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Perivaldo Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Arno FC's Frédson Gomes got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo Arce in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Jacinto saved Arno FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Arno FC's zone, Manfredo Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Jacinto came out of the goal and Manfredo Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerônimo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Manfredo Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dormida EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dormida EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
