Velha SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jadibaru AD the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Velha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Branco to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute of the match, Edgard Meira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Matos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel de Almeida got free with Marcelo Matos in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Gabriel de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Matos. Aloísio Moreno made a great header on Jadibaru AD's corner, it was just that Velha SS's Marcelo Matos managed to reach the ball for a save. When Betão Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Velha SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jadibaru AD.
