The audience thought a goal was coming when William Nóbrega got free with Ciro Messias in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boruc Zdrojewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elivélton Lima having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Gino Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elivélton Lima was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After some careless play in the KIMURA FC defense, Gino Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elivélton Lima. The KIMURA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elivélton Lima should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in KIMURA FC's zone, Boruc Zdrojewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Lima came out of the goal and Boruc Zdrojewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, KIMURA FC's Cesinha Silveira got a free kick in the 31st minute. Demjan Vorobets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Elivélton Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Afonsinho Pombal made a precise shot to the right of Elivélton Lima. KIMURA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Evaristo Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Verneque AD's Ciro Messias got control of the ball when William Nóbrega tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Pombal in the 48th minute of play forced KIMURA FC's goalkeeper Elivélton Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The KIMURA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Verneque AD were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Vidal made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gino Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verneque AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gino Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elivélton Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Pombal notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of KIMURA FC's Elivélton Lima. Elivélton Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gino Vidal struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Afonsinho Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Afonsinho Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Nóbrega in the 68th minute of play. When Evaristo Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the KIMURA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Vidal couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Vidal in the 72nd minute of play forced Verneque AD's goalkeeper Ciro Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Cesinha Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Demjan Vorobets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Vidals short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Elivélton Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute Gino Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
