Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gino Vidal got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Bonsucesso got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Leão. In the 8th minute Afonsinho Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrianinho Moreno made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Afonsinho Pombal sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Verneque AD getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kaká Britto hit a great ball. Ciro Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Veloso in the 13th minute of play. Verneque AD's Ciro Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Moreira in the 14th minute of play. Demjan Vorobets recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrianinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Zdrojewski in the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Boruc Zdrojewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrianinho Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Demjan Vorobets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Verneque AD's Gino Vidal in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bonsucesso's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute Jefferson Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Moreira in the 40th minute of play forced Verneque AD's goalkeeper Ciro Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonsinho Pombal took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrianinho Moreno. Adrianinho Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

In the 52nd minute, Luciano Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Bonsucesso defense, Demjan Vorobets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrianinho Moreno. The Bonsucesso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrianinho Moreno should have stopped the shot. Ciro Messias made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when André Veloso sent off a good shot on target. After 61 played minutes Bonsucesso got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Moreira. André Veloso came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ciro Messias could save by the left post. 64 minutes into the game, Fellipe Moreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciro Messias. Fellipe Moreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. André Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ciro Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Leão in the 68th minute of play forced Verneque AD's goalkeeper Ciro Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Pombal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Adrianinho Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute Kaká Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrianinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Zdrojewski in the 76th minute of the match. Bonsucesso's Adrianinho Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Pombal in the 82nd minute of play. Adrianinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Vidal in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 played minutes, Bonsucesso's Bernardo Antunes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciro Messias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bonsucesso reached it. Ciro Messias made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when André Veloso sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Boruc Zdrojewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verneque AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
