Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Telmo Lara got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Telmo Lara lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Reginaldo Salles. Paulo Renato Mangueira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Reginaldo Salles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Reginaldo Salles was a little too slow when Telmo Lara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 3-0. 15 minutes into the match, Nissoes AD's goalkeeper Reginaldo Salles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Renato Mangueira. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Telmo Lara in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reginaldo Salles saved Nissoes AD from getting behind. Paulo Renato Mangueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Reginaldo Salles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Prestes during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Prestes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Paulo Renato Mangueira sped through Nissoes AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reginaldo Salles. Cumati's Hugo Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nissoes AD's Reginaldo Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Nissoes AD from getting a goal against them. Reginaldo Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guto Proença in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Renato Mangueira got free with Reginaldo Salles in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Prestes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fábio Sá to strike the kick off in the second half. Guto Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reginaldo Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Marcos Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Telmo Lara made a precise shot to the right of Reginaldo Salles. Nissoes AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Reginaldo Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Lara in the 60th minute of the match. Marcos Prestes got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Nissoes AD's Marcos Prestes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Guto Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginaldo Salles having to interfere. Nissoes AD's Reginaldo Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Mangueira in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Telmo Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cumati's supporters rose to their feet, but Telmo Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reginaldo Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reginaldo Salles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Renato Mangueira's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. A collision led to Nissoes AD getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Luís Fábio Sá hit a great ball. Paulo Renato Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Reginaldo Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Lara struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Reginaldo Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumati. Guto Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Reginaldo Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reginaldo Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Proença in the 86th minute of play. If Telmo Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes, Luís Fábio Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nissoes AD and the Cumati players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cumati's Guto Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Telmo Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginaldo Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Cumati were the better team. Cumati's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
