Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Thomás Arruda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Thomás Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Christian Furman sped through Deep FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Guedes. In the 13th minute Christian Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mazinho Coutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo Guedes having to make a save. Luís Eduardo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes, Christian Furman made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Deep FC's Luís Eduardo Guedes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Juarês Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deep FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Couto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Birila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Furman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Luís Eduardo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Furman in the 37th minute of play. The Deep FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Itabapoana SC were winning 0-2.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Furman in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo Guedes saved Deep FC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Christian Furman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deep FC's Thomás Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deep FC's Luís Eduardo Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Deep FC from getting a goal against them. Cléberson Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cléberson Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 78 minutes into the game, Christian Furman lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Luís Eduardo Guedes. Luís Eduardo Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mazinho Coutinho in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Christian Furman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Christian Furman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Luís Eduardo Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Furman had several of the Deep FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Luís Eduardo Guedes as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Deep FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itabapoana SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
