Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bruno Lara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Manuel Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Neto went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Edgar Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. PFC Imperial's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Edgar Meirelles made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Mazza. Cavaleiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Edgard Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Manuel Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Cavaleiro's goalkeeper Manuel Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Neto. Edu Neto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manuel Mazza firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 25th minute, Ezequiel Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Valério Maciel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Lago was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 31st minute Valério Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes PFC Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Vieira. After having played for 33 minutes, Dráuzio de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavaleiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Manuel Mazza managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when PFC Imperial's Edu Neto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 44 minutes of play, PFC Imperial's Edgar Meirelles made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manuel Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Barreto in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Meirelles made a kick off. Caetano Fernandez's late challenge caught a PFC Imperial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cavaleiro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Caetano Fernandez hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Cavaleiro's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Neto came free, but Manuel Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Meirelles in the 72nd minute of play forced Cavaleiro's goalkeeper Manuel Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Barreto's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. PFC Imperial's Edgard Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 minutes of play, PFC Imperial's Edgard Vieira made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgard Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Edu Neto came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the PFC Imperial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Neto couldn't finish the play. If Tales Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Barreto in the 86th minute of the match. Edgard Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Manuel Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edu Neto took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Mazza. Manuel Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. The audience was convinced that Edgar Meirelles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Mazza was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
