Diogo das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Lucas came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Parangaba's Luisinho Ferreira. But to his dismay, Luisinho Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luisinho Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Lino Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parangaba. Cristian Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo das Neves went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Parangaba getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nicolas Arósio hit a great ball. Cristian Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Sabóia in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ariel Elodio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Parangaba's Cristian Meireles. Cristian Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Elodio in the 29th minute of play forced Parangaba's goalkeeper Cristian Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Beto Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parangaba's protests and gave Beto Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Parangaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Parangaba's Dedê Couto got a free kick in the 39th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Elodio got free with Cristian Meireles in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilmar Prata's late challenge caught a DIPLOMATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilmar Prata helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Parangaba's José Vítor Pires got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Paranaense in the 60th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA's goalkeeper Lino Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Parangaba booed when DIPLOMATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Sabóia had several of the Parangaba's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Cristian Meireles as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 71stth minute of the game Diogo das Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Parangaba's Cristian Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Meireles came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA's Diogo das Neves. But to his dismay, Diogo das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 90 minutes into the match, José Sabóia notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Parangaba's Cristian Meireles. Cristian Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
