Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luisinho Ferreira kicked off to start the match. Kaká do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Petropolis's Kaká do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Ferreira in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Parangaba's zone, Fiori Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Meireles came out of the goal and Fiori Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 played minutes Parangaba got a freekick which was hit by Beto Paranaense. After a defensive mix-up in Parangaba's zone, Dráusio Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Meireles came out of the goal and Dráusio Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Parangaba's goal looked a bit too open when Dráusio Moreno came free, but Cristian Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fiori Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Cristian Meireles made a huge save. When Fiori Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Petropolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Cardoso couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Parangaba's goalkeeper Cristian Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fiori Cardoso. Cristian Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Moreno in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Fiori Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petropolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiori Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Moreno in the 42nd minute of play. Fiori Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Fiori Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petropolis's Kaká do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Ferreira in the 74th minute of play. Joel Pirani hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Dráusio Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cido Botelho hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Luisinho Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká do Vale having to interfere. Reinaldo Brasil hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Dráusio Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Meireles having to interfere. Cristian Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fiori Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Parangaba's Cristian Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Cardoso in the 99th minute of play.
