An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Vides in the 19th minute of play forced Tiui F.C.'s goalkeeper Eusébio Damião to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cléber Baiano during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Tiui F.C.'s Eusébio Damião to catch but Walmyr Abraão was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Vander to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Vander in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dênis Madureira saved Itacuru FC from getting behind. Antônio Vides scored 0-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusébio Damião, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Gilberto Vander notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Itacuru FC's Dênis Madureira. Dênis Madureira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th match minute, Tiui F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Tiui F.C.'s Eusébio Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Tiui F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Tiui F.C.'s zone, Antônio Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Damião came out of the goal and Antônio Vides tried to chip the ball over his head.
