Queda AD's Breno Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Mello in the 53rd minute of play. Claudinho Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Maia went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Queda AD's Cássio Romero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claudinho Pontes but with some difficulty. 73 minutes into the match, Tucunzeiro SC's Adelino Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Cerezo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Luciano Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Tucunzeiro SC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Paulão Paiva hit a great ball. If Luciano Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 84 minutes, Luciano Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queda AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto Matos in the 86th minute of play. When the match was over Queda AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tucunzeiro SC throughout the match.
