The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Berger to strike the kick off in the second half. Denílson Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Noel Negri fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balbinos SC's protests and gave Noel Negri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Balbinos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Negri to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Pedro Paulo Pitta put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gernando Matorin. 70 minutes into the game, Deivid Dante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jerônimo Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Momosa SC's Dorival Saraiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gernando Matorin. That made the score 0-3 after 84 minutes of play.
