Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Róbson Zanette got the match started through his kick off. Claudinho Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Gernando Matorin made a huge save. Lenílson Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match, Claudinho Maranhense got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gernando Matorin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Róbson Zanette had several of the Balbinos SC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gernando Matorin as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Zanette in the 18th minute of play forced Balbinos SC's goalkeeper Gernando Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Zanette in the 20th minute of play. Válter Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Almeida in the 22nd minute of play. Gernando Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Marcus Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes of play, Balbinos SC's Marcus Almeida made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Válter Mandrak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Róbson Zanette fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Noel Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Mandrak having to interfere. Claudinho Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gernando Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the SE Weiss defense, Marcus Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Válter Mandrak. The SE Weiss fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Válter Mandrak should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Berger made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Gláuber Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE Weiss's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balbinos SC the free kick. Júlio Berger might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Válter Mandrak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Berger ran back to his position shaking his head. Júlio Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbson Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Matorin having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Balbinos SC got a freekick which was hit by Noel Negri. Gernando Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Zanette in the 71st minute of play forced Balbinos SC's goalkeeper Gernando Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SE Weiss's zone, Marcus Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válter Mandrak came out of the goal and Marcus Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Lenílson Moura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Válter Mandrak, 2-3. 87 minutes into the match, Balbinos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Maranhense came free, but Gernando Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Berger in the 89th minute of play forced SE Weiss's goalkeeper Válter Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Pontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE Weiss's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balbinos SC the free kick. Júlio Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Mandrak having to interfere. Agnaldo Pontes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Balbinos SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
