Wanderson Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Trigo having to interfere. Maurício Chaves's late challenge caught a Saica SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurício Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. Willian de Alcântara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elivélton Vasconcelos. Uchoa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Wanderson Araújo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Pedro Trigo. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. The wind increased when Wanderson Araújo made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elder de Azevedo got free with Elivélton Vasconcelos in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes into the game, Uchoa's Maurício Chaves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Pedro Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Saica SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Baltazar Zonta hit a great ball. João Pedro Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Alberto Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. João Pedro Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Pedro Trigo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wanderson Araújo went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Uchoa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
