Juan Madureira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Madureira in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor Munhoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Adilson Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Pedro Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Imburo's goalkeeper Víktor Munhoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Barral. After a defensive mix-up in Imburo's zone, Juan Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víktor Munhoz came out of the goal and Juan Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Dionísio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adilson Meira to make the kick off. Ivahy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
