If Luiz Guilherme Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lauro Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Adhemar de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adhemar de Queiroz came out and tried to block the shot, but Vladimir Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Adhemar de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lauro Peres in the 28th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amarões's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canabravao the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Amarões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Walmir Dionísio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Túlio Baiano. Amarões's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 36 played minutes Amarões got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Pombal. In the 38th minute of the match, Lauro Peres got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adhemar de Queiroz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Moisés Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Túlio Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Canabravao's Moisés Teixeira in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amarões's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flávio Pombal during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Adhemar de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Porto in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Vladimir Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Peres in the 56th minute of play forced Canabravao's goalkeeper Adhemar de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauro Peres in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adhemar de Queiroz saved Canabravao from getting behind. Lauro Peres took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adhemar de Queiroz. Adhemar de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Luiz Guilherme Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Canabravao getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Walmir Dionísio hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Dudu Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adhemar de Queiroz skillfully saved the ball. Vladimir Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Lauro Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Canabravao's Germano Catarinense made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 92 played minutes Canabravao got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Messias. Amarões were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Canabravao for a fine match.
