Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Naldo Amaral kicked off to start the match. Jerônimo Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Seco having to interfere. Sabino Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliézer Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Donato in the 10th minute of play. Cássio Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cássio Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Decana booed when Bodote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardinho Romero missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 13 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eliézer Seco right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabino Donato in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliézer Seco saved Bodote from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Bodote's zone, Ernesto Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer Seco came out of the goal and Ernesto Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Bernardinho Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Cláudio Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliézer Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabino Donato's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Sabino Donato struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Eliézer Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Decana. Isaltino Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Seco having to interfere. Elder Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naldo Amaral in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Zilles saved Decana from getting behind. Erasmo Pena hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Cido Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabino Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliézer Seco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Jerônimo Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Sabino Donato put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eliézer Seco.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabino Donato made a kick off. When Decana's Sabino Donato in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bodote's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Bodote booed when Decana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Elder Moura sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simão Zilles skillfully saved the ball. Eliézer Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabino Donato's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Decana's Dráusio Rodrigues slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliézer Seco. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. With his leg Eliézer Seco managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Decana's Sabino Donato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 61 played minutes Bodote got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Fernandes. Eliézer Seco was a little too slow when Sabino Donato got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-3. 67 minutes into the match, Bodote's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Donato came free, but Eliézer Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer Seco made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Sabino Donato sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th match minute, Bodote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Digo Meireles to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bodote's Eliézer Seco got control of the ball when Dráusio Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dráusio Rodrigues received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliézer Seco came out and tried to block the shot, but Dráusio Rodrigues slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 83rd minute. Sabino Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eliézer Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio Fernandes during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Bodote got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Fernandes. Decana played a much better game than Bodote and deserved their victory. The Bodote players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
