Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sabino Donato kicked off to start the match. Sabino Donato let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 3rd minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. With his leg João Carlos Barros managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Decana's Sabino Donato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. João Carlos Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dalmo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Zilles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Dalmo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Zilles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Trigo came free, but João Carlos Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Vivaldo Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo and the Decana players grew even worse after the yellow card. 23 minutes into the match, Dalmo Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Zilles. Decana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmo Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Dalmo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Sabino Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. João Carlos Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabino Donato received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Carlos Barros came out and tried to block the shot, but Sabino Donato slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. Vivaldo Abraão hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes, Sabino Donato made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Flamengo's João Carlos Barros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Laércio Cabral in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simão Zilles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabino Donato in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Carlos Barros saved Flamengo from getting behind. Flamengo's João Carlos Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Trigo in the 57th minute of play. João Carlos Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabino Donato's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dráusio Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decana's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráusio Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carlos Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flamengo's João Carlos Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Donato in the 63rd minute of play. Simão Zilles made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Francisco Cruz in the 65th minute. Flamengo's Laércio Cabral came free and shot a quick shot against goal 67 minutes in the game, fortunately Simão Zilles had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Decana's Simão Zilles got control of the ball when Laércio Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sabino Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. João Carlos Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Paiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Carlos Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Paiva ran back to his position shaking his head. When Decana's Sabino Donato in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flamengo's goalie prevented a goal. João Carlos Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Donato in the 81st minute of play. Laércio Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Zilles having to interfere. When Dalmo Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo Vidal couldn't finish the play. Simão Zilles made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when João Francisco Cruz sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laércio Cabral got free with Simão Zilles in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vivaldo Abraão hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmo Vidal in the 95th minute of play forced Decana's goalkeeper Simão Zilles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Decana fully deserved thier win.
