When Claudinho Pontes fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warriors FC's protests and gave Claudinho Pontes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Warriors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Pontes to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Noel Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warriors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Oscar Llope kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Fred Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parijos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warriors FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Parijos's Fred Abreu got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Parijos's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Favoretto came free, but Tião Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Noel Barros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Reinaldo de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Parijos booed when Warriors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agenor Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mané Lima, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Warriors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Ceresso came free, but Daniel Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Warriors FC's Tamás Kiss in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parijos's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the game, Luiz Fernando Favoretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tião Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tamás Kiss in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tião Costa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 35 minutes into the game, Warriors FC's Aloísio Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tião Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Noel Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warriors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tião Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Aloísio Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warriors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aloísio Cabral struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tião Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warriors FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo de Amorim was the one to do the kick off. Esteban Argenis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Parijos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Tião Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando Favoretto in the 62nd minute of the match. When Warriors FC's Tamás Kiss in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parijos's goalie prevented a goal. If Noel Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Parijos's zone, Tamás Kiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tião Costa came out of the goal and Tamás Kiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Noel Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tião Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Parijos's Tião Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Kiss in the 78th minute of play. Tião Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tamás Kiss in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Warriors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo de Amorim came free, but Daniel Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Tamás Kiss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Luiz Fernando Favoretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Luiz Fernando Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Warriors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Favoretto couldn't finish the play. Oscar Llope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Amorim was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Zé Carlos Ceresso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Carlos Ceresso really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Warriors FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
