A wasted opportunity for Brasiliense Esporting Clu. 26 minutes into the match, Forquilha's Acácio Diniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Severino Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Acácio Diniz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Varela. Acácio Diniz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 34 minutes, Severino Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasiliense Esporting Clu and the Forquilha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severino Freitas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Brasiliense Esporting Clu got a freekick which was hit by Egídio de Amaral. Acácio Diniz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hugo Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forquilha. Severino Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Forquilha's Antônio Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Acácio Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brasiliense Esporting Clu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Forquilha. Fiori Paraibano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo Varela. 2-1. 63 minutes into the game, Claudinei Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmundo de Mendonça. Claudinei Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 66th minute, Severino Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Varela having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Giovani Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Egídio de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Brasiliense Esporting Clu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egídio de Amaral couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Diniz in the 73rd minute of play forced Brasiliense Esporting Clu's goalkeeper Hugo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forquilha were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Brasiliense Esporting Clu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fiori Paraibano took the corner. The corner led Forquilha's Fiori Paraibano to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Varela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Acácio Diniz in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Varela saved Brasiliense Esporting Clu from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Acácio Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forquilha's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Diniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Brasiliense Esporting Clu's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Prestes came free, but Hugo Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Diniz in the 87th minute of play forced Brasiliense Esporting Clu's goalkeeper Hugo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudinei Fernandez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edmundo de Mendonça. That made the score 2-3 in the 90 minute of play. Acácio Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brasiliense Esporting Clu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
