Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After having played for 8 minutes, Dalmo Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picarra SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmo Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney de Brito in the 11th minute of play forced Picarra SS's goalkeeper Gil Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Picarra SS's Zé Pedro Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 17 minutes, Júnior Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Picarra SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júnior Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Juarês Secco came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Picarra SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Secco couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Lucas in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Dalmo Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernani de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Afonso Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute, Júnior Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Itapuca SS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Betinho Prado hit a great ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dário Trevisan was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Itapuca SS's Gil Barros threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Betinho Prado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gil Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Trevisan in the 55th minute of the match.
