Arí Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Vasconcelos in the 11th minute of the match. Hernani Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Coelho having to interfere. Abel Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaltino Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. João Adolfo Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adhemar Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. Camoci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Adolfo Coelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Camoci's Adhemar Vasconcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Merure FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Camoci had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
