João Augusto Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior da Fonseca in the 42nd minute of play. If Ulisses Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Campineira AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The attack was good, but when Sérgio Seco in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. João Augusto Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Enéas Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Belchior da Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of João Augusto Albuquerque when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Belchior da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Albuquerque having to interfere. If Belchior da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
