Maurício Prado started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Maurício Prado notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Embu das Artes F.C's Arnaldo Soter. Arnaldo Soter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurício Prado in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Soter saved Embu das Artes F.C from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Embu das Artes F.C's Claudinei Lira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Luz. Emanuel Luz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reginald Day got free with Emanuel Luz in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Andrade received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Luz came out and tried to block the shot, but José Andrade slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Peripery AD's goalkeeper Emanuel Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Lira. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Maurício Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peripery AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Soter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, José Andrade dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emanuel Luz, 3-1. Maurício Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Maurício Prado came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Peripery AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Prado couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Embu das Artes F.C getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Reginald Day hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Peripery AD's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Lira came free, but Emanuel Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reginald Day could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Emanuel Luz made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Andrade to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Peripery AD's zone, José Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Luz came out of the goal and José Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wágner Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Luz having to interfere. Emanuel Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginald Day in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute José Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Maurício Prado fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Peripery AD's Maurício Prado got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Peripery AD's Ramiro Paulista got a free kick in the 75th minute. Emanuel Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Emanuel Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginald Day, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Claudinei Lira made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Luz. Peripery AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peripery AD's goalkeeper Emanuel Luz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Luz having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Embu das Artes F.C fully deserved thier win.
