Spectators: 7126 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 70) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maurício Prado started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Torrense Fair's zone, Maurício Prado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Carlos Cosme came out of the goal and Maurício Prado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Vinícius Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torrense Fair's protests and gave Vinícius Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. Vinícius Araújo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Peripery AD's Luisinho Nascimento got a free kick in the 24th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Emanuel Luz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 27 minutes of play, Torrense Fair's Edinho Moreno made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edinho Moreno during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Edinho Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Torrense Fair's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano de Mendonça came free, but José Carlos Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Torrense Fair got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Araújo. Emanuel Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Botelho in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Peripery AD's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Botelho came free, but Emanuel Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

José Carlos Cosme made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Maurício Prado sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute, Chico Ramos made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Luz. Peripery AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Maurício Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes, Aírton Quirino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torrense Fair and the Peripery AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Peripery AD booed when Torrense Fair was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Maurício Prado in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Maurício Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. José Carlos Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Peripery AD's Christian Moura got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Gilson Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute of the match Joel Barbosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Luz skillfully saved the ball. After 95 played minutes Torrense Fair got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Botelho. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peripery AD players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
