José Carlos Cosme was a little too slow when José Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. A collision led to Embu das Artes F.C getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Carlos Araújo hit a great ball. Reginald Day might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Carlos Cosme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reginald Day ran back to his position shaking his head. When Reginald Day came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Embu das Artes F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reginald Day couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, José Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Embu das Artes F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but José Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Carlos Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Embu das Artes F.C fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Embu das Artes F.C's Reginald Day looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnaldo Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo de Barros in the 44th minute of play. José Carlos Cosme was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and José Andrade capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Andrade really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilson Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Carlos Cosme came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Embu das Artes F.C's Reginald Day. But to his dismay, Reginald Day quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, Torrense Fair's Edinho Moreno got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Torrense Fair's goal looked a bit too open when José Andrade came free, but José Carlos Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Carlos Cosme having to make a save. Reginald Day sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Carlos Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginald Day in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, José Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Carlos Cosme. Torrense Fair's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. José Carlos Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginald Day in the 73rd minute of play. Dé de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Andrade in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Carlos Cosme saved Torrense Fair from getting behind. José Carlos Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Reginald Day came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Embu das Artes F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reginald Day couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute José Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Reginald Day managed to get in a good position for a shot. Embu das Artes F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Reginald Day was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Embu das Artes F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
