Emanuel Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Lira in the 6th minute of the match. Maurício Prado's late challenge caught a Embu das Artes F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurício Prado helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Peripery AD got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Prado. 11 minutes into the game, Embu das Artes F.C's José Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. José Andrade scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Luz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Aírton Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Luz. Peripery AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Maurício Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Soter having to interfere. José Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Peripery AD's Ramiro Paulista got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Peripery AD's zone, Anıl Ege Çelebi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Luz came out of the goal and Anıl Ege Çelebi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurício Prado was the one to do the kick off. Embu das Artes F.C's Aírton Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 55 played minutes Embu das Artes F.C got a freekick which was hit by José Andrade. If Maurício Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st play minute Reginald Day came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuel Luz. 0-6. In the 63rd minute, Reginald Day made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Luz. Peripery AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Arnaldo Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Prado in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Peripery AD's Emanuel Luz got control of the ball when Reginald Day tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emanuel Luz came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Embu das Artes F.C's Carlos Araújo. But to his dismay, Carlos Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Peripery AD's Federico Isaio suffered a sore thigh after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Peripery AD's Dé Leite was substituted for Federico Isaio.
