Thanks to some nice moves Fernandão Mattos could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Charles de Almeida however easily saved by the left post. Gerson Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Igor Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Igor Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Queirós in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Mandrak in the 27th minute of play forced Leitner's goalkeeper Igor Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerson Mandrak to make the kick off. 0-3 became the score in the 52nd minute when Gerson Mandrak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jaboticaba EC's Gerson Mandrak was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Patrick Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
