Gustavo Madureira started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, GreNal Revive's goalkeeper Chicão Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Cearense. When Rodrigo Cearense, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Chicão Cavalcante was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With his leg Chicão Cavalcante managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Garibe SS's Rodrigo Cearense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14thth minute of the game Gustavo Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garibe SS's Rogério Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Faustino in the 22nd minute of play forced GreNal Revive's goalkeeper Chicão Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Garibe SS's Zacarias Lara got a free kick in the 25th minute. Rogério Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Cavalcante having to interfere. A collision led to GreNal Revive getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Enéas Berger hit a great ball. Rodrigo Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir Campidelis during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zacarias Lara's late challenge caught a GreNal Revive's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Perivaldo Faustino was the one to do the kick off. Rogério Quirino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Madureira in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Garibe SS's Rogério Quirino got control of the ball when Gustavo Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão Cavalcante having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Garibe SS's goalkeeper Rogério Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Madureira. GreNal Revive's Chicão Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Faustino in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, GreNal Revive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Senna to maneuver through the defense. Chicão Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Cearense in the 82nd minute of the match. Perivaldo Faustino scored 1-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Garibe SS had won after a very even match.
