Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Pachequinho SC's João Francisco Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Eger came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacho FC's Wilton Tande. But to his dismay, Wilton Tande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alexandre Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 32nd minute, Oséias de Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pachequinho SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Oséias de Lara placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Wilton Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Wilton Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fred Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tacho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Trigo couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Tacho FC's Júlio Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Esteves in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute, Pachequinho SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fred Trigo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wilton Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Eger having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pachequinho SC's zone, Sabino Recife stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Eger came out of the goal and Sabino Recife tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
