When Benjamim Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the S.I.F.S. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamim Veloso couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonsinho Esteves in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar Custódio saved S.I.F.S. from getting behind. S.I.F.S.'s Gilmar Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Quintal in the 20th minute of play. Gilmar Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Esteves in the 21st minute of the match. Alexandre Eger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Sabóia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Jano Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Custódio took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Eger. Anderson Custódio hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonsinho Esteves to strike the kick off in the second half. If Afonsinho Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, S.I.F.S. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Pachequinho SC's Donatello Paiva broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonsinho Esteves in the 71st minute of play forced S.I.F.S.'s goalkeeper Gilmar Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilmar Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Quintal in the 72nd minute of play. Pachequinho SC's João Francisco Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilmar Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Esteves in the 90th minute of play. Alexandre Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. S.I.F.S.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
