Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciro Neves started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Neves in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Testo's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Simão came free, but Leandro Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Testo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Romeu Machado hit a great ball. Ciro Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Yuri Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Testo's Elder Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Lira struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Joaquim Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Testo. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Elder Lira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquim Penha. Elder Lira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 39th minute of the match, Ciro Neves tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquim Penha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 43 minutes into the game, Iuri Simão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.R.Vasco da Gama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Testo the free kick. Iuri Simão hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Elder Lira fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iuri Simão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elder Lira might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elder Lira ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the C.R.Vasco da Gama defense, Ciro Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquim Penha. The C.R.Vasco da Gama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Penha should have stopped the shot. When Christian Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.R.Vasco da Gama's protests and gave Christian Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. Testo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Paulo Vergílio in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, C.R.Vasco da Gama's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Neves came free, but Joaquim Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Testo's Elder Lira made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Penha having to interfere. Testo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
