But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón Quaresma couldn't finish the play. Celsinho Massa got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Yan Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo-Enrique Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Pablo-Enrique Guzman sped through The Guardians United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yan Mangueira. Ramón Quaresma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 79th minute, Pablo-Enrique Guzman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Pablo-Enrique Guzman lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Yan Mangueira. A collision led to The Guardians United getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Valdomiro Gomes hit a great ball. Yan Mangueira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexsandro Reis. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Guardians United's goalkeeper Yan Mangueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yan Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donatello Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jupi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
