Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joélson Alagoano got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Riberalta's zone, Orlando Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mazinho Cearense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Adrianinho Cruz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 16 played minutes Riberalta got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Souto. The audience was convinced that Orlando Bertassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiaguinho Xavier was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Tiaguinho Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Bertassi went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Virgílio Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Mazinho Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riberalta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joélson Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Adrianinho Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazinho Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Adrianinho Cruz made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Joélson Alagoano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adrianinho Cruz, 1-1. Ramiro Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tiaguinho Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramiro Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Ramiro Freire tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tiaguinho Xavier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 65 minutes into the game, Nelson Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riberalta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmeiras the free kick. A collision led to Riberalta getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Nelson Gaúcho hit a great ball. Ramiro Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tiaguinho Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Riberalta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Adrianinho Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Mazinho Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
