Juvenal Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavinho Faria in the 5th minute of the match. Romário de Almeida hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Flavinho Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Simões having to interfere. Juvenal Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimir Schmidt in the 12th minute. 19 minutes into the match, S.E Portucalense's goalkeeper Juvenal Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Schmidt. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavinho Faria in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juvenal Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Vladimir Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vladimir Schmidt came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Caire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Schmidt couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Faria in the 34th minute of play forced S.E Portucalense's goalkeeper Juvenal Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, S.E Portucalense's Juvenal Simões got control of the ball when Vladimir Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. S.E Portucalense's Juvenal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Faria in the 40th minute of play. Juvenal Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Faria in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Vladimir Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Juvenal Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavinho Faria to make the kick off. Vladimir Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Simões having to interfere. Umberto Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Umberto Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to S.E Portucalense getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Umberto Trigo hit a great ball. If Flavinho Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Juvenal Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caire. In the 67th match minute, S.E Portucalense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Trigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Vladimir Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavinho Faria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juvenal Simões having to make a save. Eliézer Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Juvenal Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Caire's Vladimir Schmidt in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E Portucalense's goalie prevented a goal. When Juan Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caire's protests and gave Juan Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Juan Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Caire got a freekick which was hit by Juan Fonseca. If Vladimir Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Simões having to interfere. Vladimir Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Juvenal Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Caire players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
