In the 15th minute, Zé Romero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Fontes. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 24th minute, Göran Bolin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Luís Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Fantini in the 26th minute of the match. When Pedro Paulo Schmidt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. Pedro Paulo Schmidt hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Enéas Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carlos Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Göran Bolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. André Luís Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

52 minutes in the game, Göran Bolin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without André Luís Leão having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Silva took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Fontes. Edgar Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 62nd minute Zé Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enéas Lago in the 65th minute of play. Reginaldo Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Leão having to interfere. Carlos Eduardo Silva scored 4-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Fontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 minutes of play, Bariqui's Zé Pedro Nunes made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, lages esporte clube's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Lago came free, but Edgar Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bariqui's Silas Barral got a free kick in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Bariqui's Enéas Lago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 97 minutes into the match, lages esporte clube's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Romero came free, but Edgar Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
