If Benê Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Filipe Pimenta made a huge save. Edvaldo Travassos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeferson Baptista went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Arantes in the 44th minute of play forced Spartan Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Edvaldo Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Meireles struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Edvaldo Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olario SS. 47 minutes into the match, Spartan Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Arantes came free, but Edvaldo Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dito de Lara to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Meireles got free with Edvaldo Travassos in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Spartan Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Edvaldo Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Meireles. William Meireles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Edvaldo Travassos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Olario SS's Edvaldo Travassos threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar Arantes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edvaldo Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Arantes in the 83rd minute of the match. Olario SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
