When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Kauã da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Faria having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Vale in the 62nd minute of play forced Jandui's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Acarajé Warriors Club were the better team. Acarajé Warriors Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
