Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benedito Pereira got the match started through his kick off. Juninho Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juninho Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Ryder got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Lopes. In the 4th minute Fernandão Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauã Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Fernandão Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kauã Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Benedito Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedito Pereira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Luís Eduardo Faria 12 minutes into the match. Enrique Prado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo Faria having to make a save. Luís Eduardo Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Prado in the 16th minute. Juan Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kauã Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jandui getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dadá Gaspar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Pereira in the 22nd minute of play forced Jandui's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jandui's Luís Eduardo Faria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Jandui from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jandui fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Ryder. Haroldo Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Eduardo Faria. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Jandui's Jefferson Carioca got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 38th minute, when Ryder's Haroldo Neto after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Luís Eduardo Faria in Jandui's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedito Pereira in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Eduardo Faria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernani Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Luís Eduardo Faria came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ryder's Enrique Prado. But to his dismay, Enrique Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernani Batista got free with Kauã Ferreira in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedito Pereira in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Eduardo Faria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jandui's Luís Eduardo Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Pereira in the 62nd minute of play. Benedito Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Faria having to interfere. Luís Eduardo Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Kauã Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernani Batista in the 68th minute. If Benedito Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Luís Eduardo Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jandui's Luís Eduardo Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Pereira in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Enrique Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ryder's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jandui the free kick. In the 85th minute Enrique Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernani Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Kauã Ferreira made a huge save. After 94 minutes of play Ryder's Juninho Lopes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Ryder's Juninho Lopes got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Ernani Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jandui's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
