Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aílton Guimarães kicked off to start the match. Ismael Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro Cardoso in the 4th minute. The supporters of Marcondesia booed when Urutu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Toninho Custódio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Urutu FC's Ismael Sanches. Ismael Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the game, Urutu FC's Dino Botelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Acácio Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 14 played minutes Marcondesia got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Custódio. Carlos Alberto Hermes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Aílton Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marcondesia's Acácio Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aílton Guimarães in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Acácio Rocha saved Marcondesia from getting behind. Maicon Amorim struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Acácio Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urutu FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Botelho in the 26th minute of play forced Marcondesia's goalkeeper Acácio Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Urutu FC's Aílton Guimarães in 33 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Acácio Rocha guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 34th match minute, Marcondesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Marcondesia's Acácio Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Guimarães in the 35th minute of play. Urutu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dino Botelho in the 36th minute. Acácio Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Sanches made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Leonel Ramos sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Alberto Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acácio Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Amorim in the 48th minute of play. The Marcondesia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Urutu FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toninho Custódio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Marcondesia were awarded a corner. Abel Diniz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Marcondesia's Abel Diniz to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Sanches despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nilson Vianna charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilson Vianna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marcondesia getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nilson Vianna hit a great ball. If Maicon Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Acácio Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marcondesia's zone, Aílton Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Rocha came out of the goal and Aílton Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acácio Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maicon Amorim's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Acácio Rocha made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Paulinho Custódio sent off a good shot on target. Aílton Guimarães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Acácio Rocha having to make a save. Carlos Alberto Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aílton Guimarãess short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Acácio Rocha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Urutu FC's Aílton Guimarães managed to work through Marcondesia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aílton Guimarães dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Acácio Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Botelho in the 77th minute. Urutu FC's Ismael Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Galvão in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marcondesia's Osvaldinho Galvão got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Aílton Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Botelho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Acácio Rocha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Marcondesia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Urutu FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
