The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CHANTRE UNITED's Juan Carlos Olave played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Cruz in the 9th minute of play. Luisão Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Olave having to interfere. The nice shot from Flavinho Ramalho in the 17thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Luisinho Moreno had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. CHANTRE UNITED's Flavinho Ramalho managed to work through Barro's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Flavinho Ramalho dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Siniša Smilenski came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the CHANTRE UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siniša Smilenski couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Flavinho Ramalho put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luisinho Moreno. Luisinho Moreno came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by CHANTRE UNITED's Flavinho Ramalho. But to his dismay, Flavinho Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Luisão Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Olave having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Alfredinho Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Carlos Olave was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. João Paulo de Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Carlos Olave stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Francisco Sampaio's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, CHANTRE UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Sampaio came free, but Juan Carlos Olave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavinho Ramalho came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luisinho Moreno could save by the left post. In the 45th minute, Flavinho Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CHANTRE UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisão Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. Betinho Costa hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Luisão Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Carlos Olave was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The CHANTRE UNITED fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when CHANTRE UNITED's Flavinho Ramalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luisinho Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavinho Ramalho went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. CHANTRE UNITED made a substitution. Martin Thor replaced Kauan Koehler. In the 72nd minute, João Vítor Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Carlos Olave made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrão Viana in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexsandro Botelho in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisinho Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alexsandro Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHANTRE UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisinho Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes, Chico Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barro and the CHANTRE UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chico Terra was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Barro's Chico Terra got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Siniša Smilenski managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHANTRE UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Siniša Smilenski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisinho Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CHANTRE UNITED booed when Barro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the CHANTRE UNITED players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
