In the 46th minute, Cido Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chicão Terra made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Chicão Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Kjell Hedvall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paraguacu's Kjell Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão Terra in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Antônio Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZimmerZERA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Terra in the 67th minute of play forced Paraguacu's goalkeeper Kjell Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Antônio Travassos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZimmerZERA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 73 minutes into the game, Ramón de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZimmerZERA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguacu the free kick. Ramón de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Paraguacu booed when ZimmerZERA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ZimmerZERA FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when ZimmerZERA FC's Antônio Travassos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguacu's zone, Chicão Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Hedvall came out of the goal and Chicão Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the match, Paraguacu's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão Terra came free, but Kjell Hedvall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Terra in the 88th minute of play forced Paraguacu's goalkeeper Kjell Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Hedvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Paraguacu's Kjell Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Travassos in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the ZimmerZERA FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
