Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Paulão Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Havana Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulão Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Pedro Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luizinho Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando do Nascimento in the 5th minute of the match. With 13 minutes on the clock, Tony Senna commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Havana Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pertile:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Pertile. Guilherme Araújo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luizinho Mesquita. 0-1. When Hamílton Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Havana Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton Miranda couldn't finish the play. Dráusio Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Tinoco having to interfere. Luizinho Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando do Nascimento in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Havana Club's Dráusio Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Pedro Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dráusio Pernambucano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. Havana Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 41st minute, Ramiro Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmo Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Havana Club's Hamílton Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Pedro Tinoco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hamílton Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Tinoco having to interfere. With a little luck, Havana Club's Luizinho Mesquita got control of the ball when Carlos Fernando do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Havana Club's Paulão Bittencourt got a free kick in the 58th minute. Carlos Fernando do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Luizinho Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pertile. Guga Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pertile's Carlos Fernando do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Pedro Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Pernambucano in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Pertile's Rafa Melo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luizinho Mesquita. That made the score 1-2 after 74 minutes of play. If Dráusio Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Pedro Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pertile getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. João Pedro Mota hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Pernambucano in the 82nd minute of play forced Pertile's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandinho Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Washington Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pertile and the Havana Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamílton Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Pedro Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pertile's João Pedro Mota got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered João Pedro Mota off the ground. João Pedro Mota hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Luizinho Mesquita came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Pertile's Carlos Fernando do Nascimento. But to his dismay, Carlos Fernando do Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Havana Club manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pertile to win.
