Spectators: 6798 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dito Félix kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Benedito Camargo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Águia FC's Wanderson Prestes. Wanderson Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wanderson Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, one of Tabajara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 22 minutes into the match, Águia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Veiga came free, but Wanderson Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jano Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Frederico Alves fired a really elegant long shot, but Baltazar Vaz threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Paraibano in the 25th minute of play forced Tabajara's goalkeeper Baltazar Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Antônio Veiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wanderson Prestes. Águia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Veiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Dito Félix came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tabajara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Félix couldn't finish the play. Dário Vidal struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Wanderson Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabajara. Baltazar Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Paraibano in the 42nd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frederico Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Vaz having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Tabajara's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Paraibano came free, but Baltazar Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dário Vidal during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tabajara getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dário Vidal hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Leonel Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Baltazar Vaz. Tabajara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Dário Vidal came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wanderson Prestes could save by the left post. After having played for 74 minutes, Frederico Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Águia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Frederico Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Águia FC booed when Tabajara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Águia FC's Leonel Paraibano in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tabajara's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th match minute, Águia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Alves took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltazar Vaz. Baltazar Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Frederico Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltazar Vaz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Águia FC's Leonel Paraibano. But to his dismay, Leonel Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Leonel Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Baltazar Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito Félix hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
