Kiko Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Quixoba getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Elder Paiva hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Figueiredo got free with Kiko Borges in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Quixoba played a much better game than Double Black FC and deserved their victory. The Double Black FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
