The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Nikola Omayski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Terra. Mattias Tham was a little too slow when Gildo Fontes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. Gildo Fontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattias Tham having to make a save. Gildo Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildo Fontes got free with Mattias Tham in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Nikola Omayski sped through Jundiapeba Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Vítor Terra. After a defensive mix-up in Jundiapeba Futebol Clube's zone, Leandro Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Terra came out of the goal and Leandro Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseu Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Fausto Prisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Tham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Tham didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Jundiapeba Futebol Clube's Gildo Fontes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 41st match minute, Jundiapeba Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony de Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Adrianinho Hoffmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Vítor Terra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fausto Prisco struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Mattias Tham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jundiapeba Futebol Clube.

The wind increased when Gildo Fontes made the kick off in the second half. Rony de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Tham having to interfere. Gildo Fontes took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Tham. Mattias Tham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Nikola Omayski took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Vítor Terra. João Vítor Terra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Fontes in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Tham saved Galheiro FC from getting behind. Galheiro FC's Mattias Tham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Fontes in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Gildo Fontes notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Galheiro FC's Mattias Tham. Mattias Tham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nikola Omayski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. João Vítor Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Prisco in the 78th minute of play forced Galheiro FC's goalkeeper Mattias Tham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jundiapeba Futebol Clube's Vinícius da Cunha got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Fontes in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Tham saved Galheiro FC from getting behind. Mattias Tham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gildo Fontes's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. João Vítor Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Pirani in the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Nikola Omayski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Vítor Terra. Nikola Omayski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-4.
