Cido Amaral hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Mustangs United Football's Valério de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Mustangs United Football from getting a goal against them. Jundiapeba Futebol Clube's João Vítor Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Amaral in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mustangs United Football's zone, Rony de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valério de Lima came out of the goal and Rony de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gildo Fontes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Valério de Lima skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 29 played minutes Mustangs United Football got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Maranhense. After having played for 31 minutes, Zézinho Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mustangs United Football's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinícius da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gildo Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fausto Prisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Jundiapeba Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Simão came free, but João Vítor Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gildo Fontes made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gildo Fontes in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valério de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gildo Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério de Lima having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Gildo Fontes put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Valério de Lima. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mustangs United Football's goalkeeper Valério de Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony de Souza in the 70th minute of play forced Mustangs United Football's goalkeeper Valério de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Mustangs United Football's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Fontes came free, but Valério de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
